Chyavana

Making a 3,000-year-old remedy feel worth ₹1,450 a jar

D2C landing pageArt directionConversion copy

Chyawanprash is a crowded, sugary category where every jar claims the same thing. Chyavana's difference is real but quiet: no added sugar, fresh winter amla, and lab tests for heavy metals.

I designed and built the page as an editorial product story. The hero sells the outcome (fewer sick days), the price and the buy button sit in the first screen, and every section after it removes one doubt: who it is for, how much to give, what is inside, and how it is tested.

It reads like a premium wellness brand, not a pharmacy shelf, which is what lets a ₹1,450 jar feel reasonable.

The full page, recorded from the live site, top to bottom.
Chyavana hero: ‘Fewer sick days this winter’ beside a dark glass jar, with the ₹1,450 price and a Buy a jar button.
‘One spoon, every morning’ with a mother feeding her son.
The benefit before the ingredients: fewer coughs and colds, said the way a parent says it.
‘Less of that constant tiredness’ with a large statistic beside a woman resting by a window.
Editorial photography and large numerals keep a health claim calm instead of loud.
‘How much, and for whom’ with chips for children, adults, over 60 and managing blood sugar.
Dosage by audience, one tap each.
Lab results on deep green above ‘What is actually in the jar’.
Lab results get their own section. Tradition is the backdrop; evidence is the argument.
Ingredients with fresh amla, A2 cow ghee and raw honey, above ‘Why it takes three weeks’ and amla cooking in an iron pan.
The process is the premium: three weeks of cooking explains the price.
‘Made by people whose names we print’ beside a portrait of an elderly craftsman.
Closing offer ‘One spoon, every morning, all winter’ with a buy button over a dark green family scene.

The decisions that made it work

01

Price in the first screen

For a D2C product the price is part of the pitch. Hiding it below the fold only adds a step between interest and the cart.

02

Proof over heritage

Lab results for lead, arsenic and mercury get their own section. Tradition is the backdrop, evidence is the argument.

03

A serif with restraint

One editorial serif, deep green and warm paper. The palette does the ‘premium’ work so the copy does not have to shout.
